Refunds
Refund Policy:
Below is an overview of when refunds will be issued
- All refund requests are subject to review by the Director of Recreation and must be sent in writing to bblumsack@stoneham.ma-gov
- A full refund will be issued only if a program is cancelled by Stoneham Recreation.
- If a participant wishes to cancel a program, they will receive a credit to their account to be applied for a future Stoneham Recreation activity. All credits must be used within one year.
- To receive a full credit when cancelling a Recreation program, the participant must request to withdraw from the class within 7 days prior to the first class and must be in writing. Cancellation request can be sent to bblumsack@stoneham-ma.gov
- Participants who cancel after 7 days, but before the first class, will receive a 50% credit to their account and must be used within one year.
- After the start of the first class, only refunds or credits will be issued for medical reasons.
- There will be a $20.00 administrative fee for all refunds approved by the Director of Recreation unless the program is canceled by Stoneham Recreation.
- Refunds deemed appropriate by the Director of Recreation will be distributed in the form of a check made out to the primary account holder.
