Design and Build (Wicked Cool For Kids)
AM Only Option: Imagine what you can do with science and engineering! This challenge based workshop will allow kids to re-purpose items using the engineering and design process to dream up something new, useful, fabulous or just plain fun! Construct creatures that can move with magnets, build an all weather shelter for a critter, and up-cycle a clothespin into a catapult. Design a working water filter, and create a car that's built to keep an egg from crashing!
Full Day Option: Afternoon designers will delve into sustainable energy by building a Kiwi Crate Solar Crayon Recycler, transforming old crayon bits into new creations. Design and build some amazing structures that you choose!
Dates: 7/20-7/24 (Monday-Friday)
Location: Town Hall Banquet Room (35 Central Street)
Time: 9AM-3PM (full day) or 9AM-12PM (half day)
