Serenely Guided Foundation Storytime Program

Inspired by Health Empowerment, Wellness, Disabilities, Empathy, Kindness, Inclusion and Beyond
 
Prior to the Session: An introduction by the Serenely Guided Foundation to the group about what a non-profit organization is, what the Serenely Guided Foundation does, and why it’s important to help others.
 
Session Description: What is a disability? What is a disorder? Why is it important to empower your child’s wellness, empathy, and kindness? These questions and ideas are explored in our specially curated Amazon Book & Activity List created by the Serenely Guided Foundation.
 
Included:
  • 2 Read Aloud Stories (selected for each session from the SGF Amazon Book List)
  • 1 Drawing Activity (inspired by the book selections).
  • 1 Mindfulness & Meditation Exercise
  • 1 Quote Creation by each child about empowerment
  • 1 “Get Well Soon” Card Creation for a Child in Need (these cards will be sent to children receiving in-patient treatment at local hospitals).
 
Ages: K-4
